Amazing Things to do in Byron Bay

Ohhhh Byron!!! How good is to travel and enjoy its warm weather and surf vibes during all year round? It was my second time in Byron Bay since I’m living in Australia – 2015, but this time now in a road trip as the pandemic situation is not allowing us to travel outside NSW yet (the borders should open for Xmas time!). Check my first trip to Byron Bay by clicking here. It was absolutely amazing to know this place for the first time and it has extra information. But on this post I will show you more things to do as I spent 10 days in this paradise! Explore…

Wine Tasting Tour in Hunter Valley

It was my second time in the Hunter Region and we’ve travelled with another couple of friends, so we decided together to book a Wine Tasting Tour to enjoy the best wines of Hunter Valley, also to be comfortable in a transport that anyone from our group needed to drive. It was fabulous! So, a month before we had a look at Trip Advisor and we did a bit of research as well to decide which tour could be good for us, but because of the covid-19 and social distance, things are a bit different during these times and it was difficult to find a spot. We found the Cheers…

    A guide to Mudgee

Our first time in Mudgee was absolutely amazing! What a beautiful town, located in the west of Sydney, New South Wales. It’s around 3.5 hours driving from Sydney and the road views are fantastic! It’s gorgeous to see the nature all the way to Mudgee. Unfortunately some parts are still recovering from the bushfires but it’s a lot to see during this road trip. Lithgow, Blue Mountains We planned to stop at Lithgow town for a quick coffee break and to know another place on our way to Mudgee. Lithgow is located around 2 hours from Sydney in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. We had a beautiful coffee…

My Experience with Holiday Inn Potts Point in Sydney, NSW

I know this may sound cliche, but I love Sydney! I’ve been living here for 5 years, I’ve visited so many amazing places but I feel that there are still so many others to explore. But even the places I’ve already visited, I still love enjoying the same views such as Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge as if it was my first time there. Last weekend, I had an amazing time celebrating these incredible 5 years living here at the Holiday Inn Potts Point, Sydney, NSW. I stayed at Harbour View Room, which was absolutely fantastic! The location is excellent, in the heart of historic Potts Point, next to Kings…

Awesome Things To Do | Berry, South Coast NSW

The charm and stylish Berry is located in the Shoalhaven region of the NSW South Coast and it’s a beautiful quick country escape. I loved my weekend gateaway walking around the gorgeous town of Berry. How to get there Berry is around two hours driving from Sydney and you can take the spectacular Grand Pacific Drive to get there. You can also take a train from Sydney to Berry, a scenic journey of around three hours, but I really recommend to hire a car to enjoy the region with more freedom. Where to Stay Accommodation options include country cottages, B&Bs, boutique inns and farmstays. I stayed at The Pines Bed and Breakfast as it’s very busy at the…

We painted a new Mural in Sydney

Last month, my beloved husband and Sydney artist @BrunoMota created a new amazing mural for a lovely Yoga Studio in Rosebery, NSW. Of course I was there supporting him again in his duties painting, photographing and filming everything in this project! The new artwork is part of a yoga studio rebranding. Bruno’s idea is to bring positivity, balance and energy through his colours to when the studio opens its doors after quarantine, due covid19. It was a great time of a healing process for us and hopefully it helps in some way the members of this studio. Namaste 🙏 Do you love art? Follow us on Instagram: @BrunoMota & @HeyCassiTravel…

A Weekend away in Hunter Valley

Hunter Valley is definitely a place to go if you’re visiting Sydney or New South Wales. It took me 4 years living in Sydney to visit the region but I loved and I’m planning to come back every year if I can. What a lovely place to relax, enjoy a weekend gateway, trying different wines and delicious food. Location The Hunter Valley, north of Sydney in New South Wales, is one of Australia’s major wine regions. Known for varietals such as Semillon and Shiraz, it’s home to numerous wineries, including world-renowned brands and family business boutique operations. Most are located south of the Hunter River and offer cellar door wine…

    My artistic side

If you follow me on Instagram @Heycassitravel you know that sometimes I’m an artist! 🙂 But if it’s your first time here, I will share with you how it all began… Bruno Mota, my husband is a professional painter around 10 years and back in that time, we started painting together in Brazil, but I didn’t find motivation to keep going professionally and Bruno did. So I watched him grow painting since his first canva, developing so many skills with talent and passion. Still in Brazil, I started to be very interested in street art, graffiti and in big public projects. Since the beginning Bruno found his own style and…

    The Cove Jervis Bay Review

The Cove is a charming acommodation located in Jervis Bay, New South Wales, but it’s also a hidden gem in the area, after a 13 kilometre drive through the rainforests of Booderee National Park. It was my second time in Jervis Bay and in my opinion it’s one of the best beaches in New South Wales. The water is crystal clear and the sand is white as its known as the whitest in the world according to Guiness Book. But The Cove is completely out of the busy area. It’s located in a seclude place and you can have this entire paradise only for you. That’s what happened to us, we…
