Wine Tasting Tour in Hunter Valley

It was my second time in the Hunter Region and we’ve travelled with another couple of friends, so we decided together to book a Wine Tasting Tour to enjoy the best wines of Hunter Valley, also to be comfortable in a transport that anyone from our group needed to drive. It was fabulous! So, a month before we had a look at Trip Advisor and we did a bit of research as well to decide which tour could be good for us, but because of the covid-19 and social distance, things are a bit different during these times and it was difficult to find a spot. We found the Cheers…

    A guide to Mudgee

Our first time in Mudgee was absolutely amazing! What a beautiful town, located in the west of Sydney, New South Wales. It’s around 3.5 hours driving from Sydney and the road views are fantastic! It’s gorgeous to see the nature all the way to Mudgee. Unfortunately some parts are still recovering from the bushfires but it’s a lot to see during this road trip. Lithgow, Blue Mountains We planned to stop at Lithgow town for a quick coffee break and to know another place on our way to Mudgee. Lithgow is located around 2 hours from Sydney in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. We had a beautiful coffee…

Awesome Things To Do | Berry, South Coast NSW

The charm and stylish Berry is located in the Shoalhaven region of the NSW South Coast and it’s a beautiful quick country escape. I loved my weekend gateaway walking around the gorgeous town of Berry. How to get there Berry is around two hours driving from Sydney and you can take the spectacular Grand Pacific Drive to get there. You can also take a train from Sydney to Berry, a scenic journey of around three hours, but I really recommend to hire a car to enjoy the region with more freedom. Where to Stay Accommodation options include country cottages, B&Bs, boutique inns and farmstays. I stayed at The Pines Bed and Breakfast as it’s very busy at the…

A Weekend away in Hunter Valley

Hunter Valley is definitely a place to go if you’re visiting Sydney or New South Wales. It took me 4 years living in Sydney to visit the region but I loved and I’m planning to come back every year if I can. What a lovely place to relax, enjoy a weekend gateway, trying different wines and delicious food. Location The Hunter Valley, north of Sydney in New South Wales, is one of Australia’s major wine regions. Known for varietals such as Semillon and Shiraz, it’s home to numerous wineries, including world-renowned brands and family business boutique operations. Most are located south of the Hunter River and offer cellar door wine…

    The Cove Jervis Bay Review

The Cove is a charming acommodation located in Jervis Bay, New South Wales, but it’s also a hidden gem in the area, after a 13 kilometre drive through the rainforests of Booderee National Park. It was my second time in Jervis Bay and in my opinion it’s one of the best beaches in New South Wales. The water is crystal clear and the sand is white as its known as the whitest in the world according to Guiness Book. But The Cove is completely out of the busy area. It’s located in a seclude place and you can have this entire paradise only for you. That’s what happened to us, we…

I stayed at one of their three Eco Huts, called Sweeney’s Eco Hut (click here to book). How to get there Driving from Sydney, the time/distance is around 4 hours and it’s a good idea to book two nights or a weekend gateway. When I booked…

Everyone knows how I love amazing hotels and to share beautiful places during my travels, but Kims Beachside Retreat definitely had my heart! What a fantastic luxury treehouse surrounded by a beautiful bush and right in front of the gorgeous Toowoon Bay, in Central Coast, New South Wales. If you’re looking for a place to relax, staying close to nature, pampering yourself with luxury products, awesome service and disconnect from the noise of our busy routine, read until the end… When the Hotel is the Destination Sometimes the hotel is the reason for the trip, which was this case. Mistere Spa and Retreat

I had a wonderful stay at Mistere Spa and Retreat. It’s a perfect place to disappear from life’s stresses for few days. Mistere Spa and Retreat is set just thirty minutes’ drive from the Gold Coast International Airport at the serenity and peace of Urliup, NSW. I flew from Sydney to Gold Coast and hired a car in the airport to go directly to Urliup, NSW. The way is very pretty, so be prepared to enjoy the views! Accommodation There are three one-bedroom villas, all five-star accommodation into the bush paradise. I stayed at the Waterfall Villa, a stylishly decorated using all neutral colours. It has a spacious kitchenette/dining area…

    Cabin in Blue Mountains, NSW

I love cabins! I’ve visited a few so far and it’s a pretty good experience always! I like to say that this is when the accommodation is the destination. The kind of travel you just want to stay inside a beautiful room with a great view. It’s sometimes a perfect gateway to disconnect from the entire world.  I spent a weekend at this beautiful and secluded treehouse cabin in Blue Mountains and I will share everything about this little piece of heaven with you, all the tips and details. This was the first cabin I’ve been to and it was such a different experience to stay in the mountain, in the middle of the…

A Day Trip to Blue Mountains

Blue Mountains was one of the first trips I’ve done in Australia after arriving in Sydney.  It’s an amazing destination for a day tour or a weekend trip from Sydney. The World Heritage region of the Blue Mountains is an Australian highlight for its natural beauty.  How to get there You can either take a train from Central Station to Katoomba or drive directly to the beautiful Blue Mountains. The drive from Sydney to Katoomba is just 90 minutes and trains regularly depart from Central Station (the trip takes around 2h40min). My first time there was a day trip, so I’ve took the train from Central Station and I stopped in Katoomba Station, after…
