    Mistere Spa and Retreat

I had a wonderful stay at Mistere Spa and Retreat. It’s a perfect place to disappear from life’s stresses for few days. Mistere Spa and Retreat is set just thirty minutes’ drive from the Gold Coast International Airport at the serenity and peace of Urliup, NSW. I flew from Sydney to Gold Coast and hired a car in the airport to go directly to Urliup, NSW. The way is very pretty, so be prepared to enjoy the views! Accommodation There are three one-bedroom villas, all five-star accommodation into the bush paradise. I stayed at the Waterfall Villa, a stylishly decorated using all neutral colours. It has a spacious kitchenette/dining area…

    Billabong Retreat Review

My experience at Billabong Retreat just before Christmas was absolutely amazing! It was a perfect time to disconnect from the busiest time of year and just relax over the weekend. This wonderful retreat is located very close from Sydney, NSW just 45 minutes by train. I planned to stay for a weekend, so I left Sydney on Friday afternoon and I took the train from Central to Vineyard Station. The shuttle was there on time waiting to picked up and after 10 minutes I arrived at Billabong Retreat. When I arrived, I felt my stress melting away and also all the relaxation from the beautiful nature surronded the beautiful Billabong…

    Cabin in Blue Mountains, NSW

I love cabins! I’ve visited a few so far and it’s a pretty good experience always! I like to say that this is when the accommodation is the destination. The kind of travel you just want to stay inside a beautiful room with a great view. It’s sometimes a perfect gateway to disconnect from the entire world.  I spent a weekend at this beautiful and secluded treehouse cabin in Blue Mountains and I will share everything about this little piece of heaven with you, all the tips and details. This was the first cabin I’ve been to and it was such a different experience to stay in the mountain, in the middle of the…

A Day Trip to Blue Mountains

Blue Mountains was one of the first trips I’ve done in Australia after arriving in Sydney.  It’s an amazing destination for a day tour or a weekend trip from Sydney. The World Heritage region of the Blue Mountains is an Australian highlight for its natural beauty.  How to get there You can either take a train from Central Station to Katoomba or drive directly to the beautiful Blue Mountains. The drive from Sydney to Katoomba is just 90 minutes and trains regularly depart from Central Station (the trip takes around 2h40min). My first time there was a day trip, so I’ve took the train from Central Station and I stopped in Katoomba Station, after…

    Long Weekend Port Stephens

Port Stephens is absolutely amazing! It took me 4 years living in Australia to visit this area (I traveled to other places during this time and I couldn’t do it before), but finally did it as I wanted  and I loved it! It’s a must if you’re in the Sydney area or New South Wales in Australia. Port Stephens has a lot to do and it’s just two and a half hours from Sydney, NSW. I totally recommend this trip for anyone! How to Get There Port Stephens is located in the Newcastle and Hunter region in NSW, around 208 kilometres from Sydney. NSW TrainLink Intercity trains go to Broadmeadow and…

    3 Days in Byron Bay

Byron Bay is one of my favourite places in Australia, not only because there are sublime beaches all along the coast but also it is the vibes. I remember when I was in Brazil, back in 2015, looking for some places to visit in Australia and since then I fell in love with Byron Bay.  There is a boho and hippie style in the air and you can enjoy the environment to do a meditation, reiki, refine your yoga practice, to eat a organic and fresh food. It’s a perfect place to relax, chill and balance your soul. Byron Bay is also one of the most iconic places in the world to…

    Weekend Guide to Jervis Bay

With some of the whitest sand beaches in the world and turquoise crystal clear waters, Jervis Bay is one of Australia’s most popular destinations and in my opinion one of the best beaches around New South Wales! Jervis Bay is located in the Shoalhaven area of New South Wales, about a three-hour drive south coast of Sydney. There’s a lot of thing to do and to see around Jervis Bay area, so I’m including a 3 days guide with the essential, but for sure you can stay more days on the paradise just enjoying the relaxation. Day 1  I planned this trip 1 week before with my husband and another couple. Together we made a fantastic road…
